Bottom Line
Receive mitigation assistance to avoid massive layoffs or receive emergency response for your workers if massive layoffs are inevitable

Summary
The REACT program coordinates efforts at state and local levels to implement layoff aversion activities and mitigate the impact of unavoidable layoffs. It assists workers who have or will be dislocated from their jobs due to a business or plant closure, a major downsizing, or a natural disaster (eg. flood, fire, hurricane, or tornado). For business, it provides industry analysis and early warning indicators, in the hopes of preventing layoffs.
